Too much Index results in over-fappage which results in decreased attention spans wherein it lowers ratings. Thus, Index exposure was limited in order to draw enough Otaku wherein they get more monies. Just a theory though as in can you over fap too much? I believe it is not possible. Also, Index raep was pretty much the only think the series had going for it, especially since biribiri wasn't shown often enough either.
