K-ON! Otaku: “Please Stop Me!”

k-on-otaku-guitar-mania.jpg

K-ON! has long been notorious for selling large numbers of musical instruments to fans, which naturally go unplayed, but in this rather extreme case the otaku seems to have assembled instruments for the entire band, as well as headphones, a Mac and much else…

“Please stop me!” he begs, though it seems 2ch is unlikely to be of much assistance.

With fans like this, it seems little wonder that the likes of Endless Eight can sell 14,000 copies

You really are a jerk and your comment comes in the worst time possible. I had to give my wife like $100 usd this week and she haves money of her won. So, please stop that BULLSHIT.

Has! Thanks a lot Arcana. I appreciate. So, the paragraph should read as:

“She has money of her own, but still asks for my money”.

@21:30 Anon totally agree in that point. Saying that having a GF cost noting is poisonous, but applauding such a comment is just pure trolling.

Women don’t want a fair, equal treatment, they want to turn men into their bitches, with is what some of us are right at this moment.

BTW: does she really have a nice ass? At least that would justify her occasional bitchness.

Since 'money' has previously been used as the subject.

ok ok ok... first of all. women cost a SH*T TON of money whether you are in the relationship or trying to get out.

second of all, all women are whores. they think their buhginas are made of gold and worth the hassle. they also think the buhginas are a carte blanche to do what they want when they want regardless of how it impacts the other person. they can attest their independence all they want but ultimately most of them just desire to manipulate and canoodle their significant other until they no longer amuse them.

third of all, being an otaku is expensive but getting a divorce is SO MUCH MORE expensive and at least otaku have thier toys, games & dvds to show for it. all poor divorcee suckers have to show for it is their poverty and broken hearts. i have never paid $40k for any of my figures or dvds. i had to sign a check for the same amount to my ex-wife, may she burn in hell for all eternity.

fourth. yes, kids are expensive, but they are your children and your responsibility and if you raise them properly having kids can be extremely rewarding. my son and i watch anime, play video games, collect toys, and get enthusiastic about pretty much all the same things. this is freaking beautiful, guys. they can be a pain in the ass sometimes but AGAIN never even close to the level that women are. also, providing my son with a good education will leave me with AN EDUCATED AND INTELLIGENT heir. this makes me proud. another positive experience.

i have been married twice and all i got was buyer's remorse.

Otaku have different structural priorities than that of 'normal' people:

    1. anime goods
    2. anime goods
    3. protective goods for anime goods
    4. food
    5. Internet
    6. rent
    7. cat
    8. clothing

So they tend to spend what they make on only what they want, and scrimp on what they need. Its a lifestyle I can appreciate and somewhat also have.

I used to work a $50k/yr job, and I was pretty much able to stash $25k/yr into savings and investments. The other $25k went to apartment, groceries, health insurance, international travel, etc., as well as funding almost all of my otaku needs (which was a lot).

Most people in the U.S. live too much of a credit-based, spend-crazy lifestyle, and wind up paying out the wazoo on interest rates they wouldn't have to worry about if they just saved up money to pay stuff off instead. If you can handle purchasing lots of stuff used isntead of new (clothing, games, etc.) and living off of groceries instead of fast food, you can actually save a shit-load of money.

why do you think most otaku's are rich? Most of my friends aren't rich at all. In fact most of them have financial problems. All they do is spending all their money on anime, manga and other merchandise. Some of my friends are pretty extreme by cutting on their living expenses, like food, clothing and drinks and take two or three part-time jobs. So they could buy all their stuff.

I bet you have something you send some money on too. Like other clothing, games....

it all depends on where your priorities are.
