A recent survey of battle manga fans reveals just which action manga have the hottest and most manful battles.
The Oricon survey asked 500 Japanese males, even split between those in their teens, twenties, thirties and forties, what they thought “the hottest battle manga” was; the results are as follows:

yeah city hunter is super manly.. i mean jackie chan even made a comical film adaptation though admittedly didnt retain much of what the manga was really about was still very comical and entertaining..

Clearly not enough people read 'Blame!'.
It would have been nice to see Mahou Sensei Negima. Even with a huge cast of girls, it's made up with guys like Jack Rakan and Fate. Though there's obviously much more manlier manga that deserved to be on this list.
By that standard, Azumanga Daioh could have made the list, just for the Badass antics of Kamineko and Mayaa.
Methinks it's the series, more than the supporting cast.
Having Naruto on that list makes that this a useless poll. That of course is ignoring the part Kenshiro isn't in the top spot.

Considering that alot of popular shonen manga nowadays are specifically made to appeal to both their original audience (males), but also to females (especially fujoshi), I'm suprised to see any recent manga on the list.
And of any of them, I would have never expected Naruto to be the one picked for a short list of "manliest manga."
