Believe it or not, there's very little fanservice in this anime. Horo doesn't even strip that often. And given the chance between frolicking and discussing economics, the show always put the economics first.
All together now: The show is called Spice and Wolf not Spice and Fox. Personally I think the animators are the dumb-fucks because they're so programmed into drawing cat-girls and fox girls that they can't get the ears and the tail to look right for a wolf girl. Heck, even the flat-chested wolf-girl in Kanokon was drawn more wolf-like than Horo.

Considering if you say "land" with katakana it doesnt sound 100% like land but closer to rando. to me it honestly sounds like horo with a very small touch of the tongue to the upper mouth during the pronunciation of the R. almost like the sound you would make with "rd" but much faster on the d part
