The game is available in December, though thanks in part at least to its late Xbox port the international release lags to sometime in 2010.

looks good been drowning in a sea of mediocre rpgs of late hopefully this will not disappoint.
I don't know about you, but I've enjoyed a plethora of good RPGs in the past several years. Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Devil Survivor, FFTA2 (FUCK YOU. FUCK YOU. That was a fun game), The World Ends With You, Persona 4, Etrian Odyssey II, Odin Sphere.
I could go on, and I don't even own a seventh generation home console. That is, unless you're specifically fixated on the realm of menu-based console RPGs. That sub-genre has been dead to me for a while now, with the odd gem popping up every blue moon (see Etrian Odyssey II and Persona 4).
I hate RPGs, but Jesus Christ do I want to play this one.

The lip work is pretty poor considering just how good the rest of the animation is, I'm slightly disappointed, but otherwise looks fairly good; just gotta hope that they have the Japanese voice track available in international release, 'cos even if I dislike the lip work, it would be worse if it didn't even time match...

Final Fantasy XIII looks closer to FFX than anything else which is agood thing.On the other hand FFXIII Versus(PS3 Exclusive) looks closer to FF7 Which will be so epic mankind will end as we know it.
