Well the only reason why many find shared toilets to be awkward is because they're not used to it, especially the ladies. Even though they go in groups to the restroom, they do their business in separate stalls.

Think about it for a minute: if as a kid you're used to the sight of the opposite gender's organ because the comfort rooms are unisex (like the picture above), then men in their puberty wouldn't be so much hormone-driven with their "curiosity" - leading to decrease in rape and sex-related crimes.

Morality dictates "decency" to prevent rape, but actually what it does is encourage it further...

I think its for women esp some stalls the toilet seat is really dirty.. So dont have to do it mid air.. since got device to do it while standing..

go implement urinals in female toilets so that they can save on building toilet bowls and cubicals which are more expensive and also shorten the queue time for female toilets

oh anon up there T_T well... you kinda can get herpes and stuff but then... its allmost non existant chance to get it.. on other hand you can get gastrointestinal illnesses and other funky stuff easily from dirty toilets. also you can get many other illness/virus from toilet, but mostlikely you wont get anything if you use common sense and wash your hands etc.

overall these things are useful for people who doesnt want to sit on other peoples shit and piss, but then again. these are pretty useless since you dont have to worry about bacteria on toilet if you just wash your hands etc. then again there comes other stuff like its prolly easier to take leak with those in some places.

thought i think it would be easier if they would just add those urinals they use in asia etc. to europe and usa and so on.. those which are on ground level. where you can take leak while squating. that way you wouldnt have to think about dirty surface's etc. tho on otherhand.. fat people cant use them so well so.. will still need normal toilets too...

As far as I know, some of those are made of coated cardboard, which turn horribly smelly after a few weeks.

well. ayu jochuu is kinda right. ive heard alot women saying how their toilets are so unclean etc. blalblablaa. and even seen once ;3 yes i have sneaked in women toilet few times coz men toilets been taken ;3 oh well. anyways. overall in my experience. especially public toilets. everywhere in the world are totally unclean.

also about bacteria etc.. well... you kinda can get aids from toilet.. but as that one guy said. it doesnt live long if its outside of body.. but its possible. ultra super rare tho.. you have to instantly use toilet after another person.. tho on other hand from unclean toilets you can get all other sex dieases etc.. as far as i know got 2 friends. one got chlamydia and one got herpes from unclean toilet. also you can easily get acne etc on your lower parts... so yeah. i know few women who use thesekind products sometimes when they need to relieve themselves quickly ;D

oh and especially public toilets... oh man.. seen so horrible ones. sh1t and random stuff on ground or walls.. or even piss all over the toiletseat etc.. i kinda understand why women dont want to sit on them ;D

could say most of you guys are Male chauvinists or just really stupid. generally good idea but then on other hand... oh well. good thing i have my own stick alive.
