Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Xbox 360 vs PS3

Even thou I've been a console gamer since the 80's, I have to say, put this on a PC powered by a mid-range or top end video card, and it will consistently look better than any console. e.g. SF4, GTA VC, SA & 4, among others.

Just add in an XBox 360 controller, cheaper prices on the games, portability if you have the $$$ for a gaming notebook...etc, etc.

Hi, I'm a PS3, and I'm sick of this "my system is superior" crap. Let's be honest. The only reason either system's version looks better is because the makers put more effort into one version than the other or didn't know how to use one system's hardware better than the other. The PS3 version looks better, not because of superiority, but because like many XBOX360 exclusives, their version was a hastily acquired beta test.

On another note, PS3 is the better of the 2 systems solely for the fact that its owner's don't have to buy a new one every few months or send out to have their repaired several times a year. Reliability is HUGE when the consoles are so similar.

Aside from fanboy faggotry, is it really all that big of a surprise that a re-made game looks better? You could re-make a game on the same system and it would look better. It's called progress.

This kind of comparison can go on & on. I have PS3 only, so my decision is to get it if the PS3 version is good, doesn't matter to me how the 360 version is, coz I'm not going to buy a 360 for just this game. If theirs is better, good for them, my decision is whether it is acceptable on PS3.

Owner of both Consoles Win. I got PS3 but Dynasty Warriors 6 and Virtua Fighter 5 are better on Xbox 360 then PS3 so i will rather buy it for Xbox.

everyone knows that graphics don't make the game. if "the PS3’s capabilities being superior to those of the Xbox 360" just like this website claims. how come the sales in consoles have been low? or an even better question, how come xbox has an average of 7.1 games sold per console, versus 3.0 on the ps3?

It goes back and forth, one game looks better on the PS3 but plays better ion the 360 and vice versa, on and on, and on,......I tried both versions of Wet and the 360 versions clearly looks better(better frame rate), with gameplay also slightly better.The PS3 has games that are better on it to.Comparing games from system to system and getting heated up about it is something for the witless,immature, and fanboys.I have both systems and love them both for what they both offer.You won't catch me on Wii boards flaming Wii owners about how superior my 360/PS3's and their games are to the Wii's however.

Screenshot 1: PS3 version lacks depth of field effect. 360 wins.

2: Boobs are far bigger in 360 version.

3: Ryo has weird arms and eyes in PS3 version. WTF?!

5: Jaggies on PS3 due to shiny plastic-wrap lighting. I thought PS3 owners hated these kind of effects?

But seriously, no technical superiority has been demonstrated here. The PS3 shots are mainly just high contrast versions of the 360 ones, and the smaller details usually go in the 360's favour.

Neither one of them has very good graphics.

as previously stated(but sadly only once or twice), an intelligent person, who doesnt let their fanboy status for any console numb their judgement, would own both consoles or at least recognize the ups and downs of all systems..PS3: at the end of the day is "capable" of putting on the big show for gamers, sadly,.. it rarely HAS. 360: lots of great games that no one else has, but it isnt as bright and colorful.. even the richness of dark colors is better on the PS3.. but again in an honest intelligent persons mind this is called balance and what makes gives the market a place to grow.. no competition leads to lazy development standards.
also note neither system has samus, mario or link.
final note. 14 months(give or take) had best make a prettier game.. console doesnt come into this.. would the 360 be capable of all the changes no.. many yes. ultimately who cares. buy what YOU want and let the rest of us enjoy what we want.

The 360 looks better because the lighting is worse, textures are flatter and there's a lower polygon count as well as lower resolution? Do you morons actually hear yourselves? They are not. God damnit Japanese developers admitted the only reason the do XBOX exclusives for a year is because Microsoft gives tham a lot of money. They then admit to, after a year, port the games to PS3 with a LOT more extras, revamped graphics and so on. Look it up, it's on an interwiev with a developer.

Who cares anout the graphics? As long as a game has good gameplay, I'll play it. That's why people still play old SNES and Genesis games.
