Yeah, all the missing frames and the like added to the charm of it and the experience.
Helped contribute to the "What in the hell..." factor without any doubt.
Most of the gist of this series is in the dialogue anyway, so as long as they don't cut those...
If the DVDs do have complete shots then it would be better!

They don't have time to animate, they're too busy being deep.
Bakemonogatari has decent stories with decent voice acting.
So long as they throw in the occasional visual still image to show what's going on, I would watch this show as a slideshow.
Then again, I download it for free. If they expect me to buy an anime DVD there had better be something worth watching more than once.
The show is so awesome, people don't need to be fanboys to defend this.
