The ninth episode of fancy pantsu anime Bakemonogatari has induced an epiphany amongst loli-lovers and 2ch denizens alike (if indeed there is any difference between these two groups), showing as it does plenty of young girls stripping, coupled with an unexpected appearance of a familiar meme…
Those that are somehow unfamiliar with the meme can visit Gaijin4koma.com for further instruction, or be content with knowing that the long-running 2ch meme revolves around using 2 images of a group of men at first showing little interest, and then wild applause, at whatever subject the creator of new images chooses to insert in the empty 2 slots for a complete 4-koma.
An image fully following the traditional format would thus go like this picture, constructed of non-sequential screenshots from the scene:
Much mirth has also been derived from the intentional irony of Nadeko’s words during the scene: “You guys are adults, but you don’t feel grossed out or anything by looking at (this) middle-school girl’s naked body, do you?”

You can clearly see here how the famous “Gaijin 4koma” has found its way into the anime…
You can see the less deviant elements of the episode below:
Nadeko is the ultimate l♥♥i FTW.

r♥♥e in progess
in the gaijin 4koma am I the only one that realizes that they’re not even the same guys in the two pictures? I think one might be the same…but seriously the second pic of them dont even have the same colour shirts.
I guess its only fitting that to the Japanese we all look alike.
Shaft puts things like half-naked l♥♥i and other moeties where they are most effective, while following with their main ideas for the story. Kyoani simply moefies everything and puts a bunch of frames in the middle of the transitions to make it smoother.
Simply admit that episode 9 of Bakemonogatari was epic just like every other episode of it and for different reasons from episode to episode.
If you can’t see when an animation studio makes positive effort into delivering effective and memorable anime, then you have already lost to your own rotten cynicism…
I see no sense in discussing about the studio Shaft and KyoAni. Both have their strengths (advantages and disadvantages).
The problem is deciding which “advantages” actually consist in exploiting cute characters acting like drugged retards for 20+ episodes and which consist in delivering as much entertaining and original content as possible.
There’s never too much l♥♥i fondling…
