depends on how you look at it. What Artefact is alluding to is probably how Okami sold horribly even after a port and rerelease. Its total sales were utter crap.
so the question becomes, do sales matter? on one hand, sales don't automatically equal quality, it can certainly be a good game but simply sell poorly.
the counterargument to that is that that view applies a rather dissonant concept of good. How can it be so good if the audience as a whole spurned it. There is a general notion that if the game was truly...resonant with the audience, it should have garnered more interest than the absolute squat that it did.
why should we leave a game for posterity if we as a whole didn't even think the game was worth buying?
why do we even think its worth saving for posterity if so few of us bought it and, barring a truly abnormal amount of borrowing/lending, few of us played it (especially versus some of the other games on that list)?
