Same here. But perhaps the most interesting thing i've noticed from Mari Ero artists are, generally most of them are real artists and indeed knows how to put that very (signature) expression of Mari. W/c makes me appreciate this character more in terms of artworks.

This movie has been released in Japanese theaters this summer (June 27, 2009), but the DVD and Blu-ray won't be released until... a long time. I think the DVD/Blu-ray release date hasn't been announced yet.
For the 1st movie 7 months passed between the theatrical release and the DVD... and more than a year for the Blu-ray. T_T

I think the main purpose of Mari is to enable yuri tsundere sex with Asuka, and that I fukken approve.
Think about it, Rei/Asuka tends to be rape (not cool) or they make Asuka nicer (kinda wrong) Asuka is a legitimate tsundere but Rei can't bring that aspect her up. Mari is the solution to one of the greatest puzzles in Eva, how to get Tsundere Asuka Yuri, enough said.
