Well Mari seems to be the only "normal" Person in the whole NGE Universe, LMAO.
Anyone who is designated a pilot for an EVA unit cannot possibly be normal. Were Toji able to actually become the regular pilot of the EVA-03 unit then we would probably see how messed up he is in the inside.
Hikari has to be the most "normal" individual in the NGE universe actually. However, she is part of that class so she could have very well become a pilot herself.
