Virtual friendship simulator Dream C Club may be set to eclipse idol molesting sim Idolmaster, as its opening day sales of 23,000 beat Idolmaster’s 19,000 handily.
However, Idolmaster earnt enduring popularity and went on to sell 100,000 copies, and the sequel, Idolmaster Live For You, sold 28,000 on its first day, meaning Dream C Club can likely only unseat Idolmaster if it becomes a more extensive franchise.
The game is available now, should you wish to brave the ignominy of being virtually dumped or “friend zoned”…

Why do so many people want to get dumped by a 2D girl? Is RL roneryness not enough for them?
That's what they design this game for...
and to think that I was just starting to get addicted to Idolm@ster...
After playing this for about 7 hours over the past few days and I'm in October of my New Game+ I can safely say that this is the Idea Factory of simulation games. As in, they're not as good as what they're trying to be (in this case, iM@S) but they're still what they are, deep down. The games are both fun.
I still prefer iM@S, though. At least iM@S was more accessible to English speakers. With this, most of the progression in the game is based on getting your girl drunk, getting yourself drunk, and getting her to reveal her secrets.
Oh sure it sounds neat but now imagine the questions all in Japanese. I'm still determined to play through it though. Hiragana and Katakana knowledge is essential even if you wish to follow a wiki (which is currently being made for Dream C Club).
My only major complaint is the loading times in the accessory/costume setup menu. It literally takes 15 seconds for you to see an accessory displaying on the girl. And there's no preview of the accessories (like in L4U).
--forgot to mention, the problem with the communication parts don't display together with the choices, but at least the choices aren't timed like iM@S was.
Autosaving is also really evil in this game. If you exit to your dashboard it will automatically skip a week and your relationship with your girl will drop. People have also reported that it can corrupt your save indefinitely, and that it can't be restored.
Thanks for the advise, any tips ?
Glad to be one of them,no wait I don't count
Completely normal. Idolmaster had too much molester bulshit. DCC is for a more wider audience.
what are you saying? a game full of pantsus and drunk girls are for a wider audience? what the hell is that?
yep, it's that time again...
need to learn japanese. DAMN YOU, MOON RUNES!!!
FAPTASTIC~!
From the quill of "Barbarian of Gor"
Give the customers what they REALLY want, eh? That thing is brilliant, and frankly it's so much cheaper than one of their RL equivalent would be and it's not a "Rip Off" club where you just get charged the equivalent of getting to "First Base" in the game's funny money and "Underworld" types collect.
I'd love to see these games in the states. Problem is the Moralists, the Pig ladies of the UN and the "Modern Women who seek to destroy all men" would stop it!
Kentaro Miura please don't buy it!
Maybe getting friendzone'd in this game will piss him off enough to make him stop playing these games.
Let's face it: Berserk is NEVER getting done at this rate.
Pretty sure he already got the game XD
In a way I'm glad that I am not a reader of Berserk like many people are.
HE ALREADY PREORDERED!
How do they beat iDOLM@STER? It's obvious! Put that robot chick front and center!

are any of these games ever going to be translated? im starting to get curious enough to try one.
Very unlikely. Like most people suggest you'd be better off learning Japan and play the games, than hoping they will be English plotted. Lots of people from Taiwan or Hong Kong learn Japanese for/from playing the Japanese games lol
Also, if games like these get English dubbed over the Japanese voices, they might as well just get burned in hell.
*look at mangagamers* Those??
easy for u to say, they understand kanji already.for roman using country it will be hard.harder than learning the japanese language itself
wait what?
You mean they play japanese video games and learn the japan writing also?
I only undestand what they speak in japanese.I still don't understand, haven't started to learn the japanese writing language
Well, unlike the games back in the 90s...majority of the games dialogues are voice thesedays, so if you already know the basic like can read the Hinagana and Katakana, it is possible to learn Japan slowly by listening to the voice of the characters and reading at text at the same time.
But the learning gain from this style would not see significant improvement in short period of time...it is usually just pick up new words and phrases from here and there. Proper study would still be much more effective.
A translation project for the PSP games started a while ago, but you know how these fan translations go. We'll see maybe a couple more progress updates before the team plays the "too busy with real life" card or gets distracted by something shiny.

maybe the price is cheaper than Idolm@ster's price?
God I'm glad this game didn't sell that well, the last thing we need is every company jumping on the "lonely otaku" demographic and releasing this type of pure shit.
die in a car fire.
You failed twice,troll.
Wohooo.. Tsundere Armpit and pantyshot at the same time :3
armpit fetishes...i'll never understand
Give it time. I said that I would never understand about half of my current fetishes.
RAYMOOO!!!
dude a game where you can go out to a hostess club of 2D girls without spending ANY real money (once you purchase the game, not to mention downloadable content) is gold in Japan.
