Japan has developed what some are calling a “robot pedobear,” the perfect solution for the world’s loli-carrying needs.
RIBA (Robot for Interactive Body Assistance) has been developed as a nursebot for toting invalids.
The robot is designed for lifting small people (max lifting weight is 61kg) out of and into bed, so the comparisons do not end at its outward appearance.
Possibly the designers would benefit from knowing more, or perhaps less, of 2ch’s ursine mascot…

I’ll tell you a secret…
It’s not only a lifting robot, inside is enough room for a lolicon to hide. The groin part can be opened from the inside for interactivity with the payload.
You can buy a special “mobility kit” which enables several new modes to hold the payload in different positions and move it rythmically – to lull it into sleep or for other activities.
This “mobility kit” costs almost as much as the robot itself, but is sure worth it. ^_^
Say... Where do they sell suits like that?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasnt Pedobear 4chan's invention? I know 2chan had a similar looking bear first, but as far as i know he wasnt pedobear, he was 'a bear that makes fun of corporations'.

According to Encyclopedia Dramatica, Pedobear was originally a "generally lecherous" character named Kuma, whose personality was retooled by 4chan to make him the girl-lover everyone loves today.

LOL, but in all seriousness, what a useless robot, Ok so it can hold the weight of a small person (61 Kg) and on the video it required the help of a full size adult, who could easily perform this task, this is a pretty pathetic intent in the robotic field IMO.
it is designed for people that cannot walk,i think that lifting almost every day a children up and down his bed would be hard.
Yeah i get what it's designed for, I just think it's poorly designed.
