The much awaited Gundam Unicorn series has been confirmed as being an OVA of 6 parts, each of 50 minutes.
The OVA will be released on both Blu-ray disc and DVDs, and is also set to be shown at special events both local and internationally. The exact date is still uncertain, but Bandai Visual has confirmed it to be next spring.
The series itself is adapted from the novel of the same name, written by Harutoshi Fukui, and covers the same timeline as the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. The novel concluded in June, and thus fans should be happy to know that the OVA will most likely strictly follow the novel without any divergence.
It's actually the V-fin on the Gundam just folded together.
And just you guys wait, the main villain is named Full Frontal.
It's probably not going to happen, simply because Sentinel wasn't created with Sunrise staffmembers. It's the same reason why we'll never see Crossbone or Ecole du Ciel adapted into an OAV or a TV series.
Still waiting for my Gundam Sentinel anime, Sunrise….
OVA huh? It might turn out better than I had hoped..
I wonder what happens if a Gundam achieved bankai?
