Subtle changes are subtle
Some of those changes really make me go "why?!"
Like changing the position of a cookie, or giving a magazine cover a sugarcube between her fingers lol.
But overall I like the changes =-)

I imported this DVD because of the awesome Dakimakura that came with it. =3 Arrived at my door the same day it was released in Japan! Amazon JP is amazing!
Does Amazon JP do international shipping (as far as I know they don't)? or do you live in Japan.
Notice I said "import." ;) I live in the US, which is why I was so surprised to get the DVD the same day it came out in Japan. & yes, Amazon JP does do international shipping on most of their products.

They must have been watched those 2 different versions simultaneously on 2 laptops and paused them exactly at the same time whenever the different things spotted,,,
there's also the possibility of doing this with a dual monitor setup too, y'know?
Is it just me or there are barely any differences between the TV and DVD besides the first scene?
the last pic on comparison 1 has nodoka wearing a much looser shirt.
Seriously, there's almost none to too little difference...whats the point?
Oh, but there ARE differences. Never underestimate the observation powers of 2chan.
Let me give you an example. In the 2nd picture, column 1, row 6 (or left-most, 6th from top), where 3 girls are having a picnic with the guy.
(forgive my ignorance, i've been meaning to watch this, so I have no idea about their names).
The girl on the left bow-tie (or that little something around her neck area) is red, from the original blue.
Similarly, the girl on the right (Nodoka, is it?) has a tinge of red on her tie instead of blue.
OKAY. When they picked out the silverware in K-on I got scared. THIS. Indescribable.
Actually the main difference is shorter clothes and added details like at the clothes of the woman at the magazine having some symbol on her breast pocket and a mahjong stone between her fingers.
In a couple of shots, one of the girls doesn't have a pocket on her blouse while the DVD version does have a pocket. Most of these, I just can't find any difference, though.
Methinks most of these were simply because the animators were rushed for airing schedule and went back and added more detail for the DVD version.

Actually yes. I play a bit of mahjong, and the differences (if they are not purely asthetics) does make it more accurate.

Well, I would have been so much more upset if the show's main focus was the ecchi like To-Love Ru or Rosario + Vampire. Since the ecchi is tacked on, I don't mind that much, but would like the DVD versions as well.
