K-ON! appears to be doing much to keep Japan’s consumer economy from imploding thanks to the dedicated efforts of a handful Mio-ists.
Though of course an economy based on hawking anime goods to obsessive otaku may not have the greatest of long-term prospects…

otaku are idiots, they waste a fortune on moeshit, give then 2 years and they'll grow bored of it and be into the next moeshit anime and the cycle with continue until they die of loneliness
Troll harder, 10yo anon.
reply better you 45 year old fat otaku virgin who still lives with his mum.
you tell me to troll better
well you replied to my troll bait, so it obviously was good enough.
so you sir are a fucking retard
Go eat a dick you self-hating otaku faggot. Collectors always appreciate their collections.
Why are you here?

CAUSE AN UPSET
LIKE A BOSS
I prefer Mugi-chan better.
Note to self... find the picture of Mio with a blush on the last image in a bigger resolution.
I'm not even a K-On fan but I think she's adorable.
Oh wow...Are those audio tapes?
am i the only one who hasn't watched this series, im mean what is so great about it
It`s otaku pandering moeshit
I love pandering moeshit mmmmmmmm.....:3
(^0^)
Hi, id like a nice second helping of pandering to me please.
I've read some of the translated manga. It's inoffensive "cute girls doing cute things" stuff and that always seems to do well. It's enjoyable, but I'm frankly a little baffled as to why it's so unbelievably popular. I don't think it's any funnier or more entertaining than something like, say, Hidamari (Sunshine) Sketch. I guess that's the KyoAni factor for you.
because its pretty unbelievably cute girls doing unbelievably cute things.
thats the thing, its so basic. but the only logically explaination i can give you is that it was made by kyo ani and its moe.
Am I the only person still dumb enough to be a Haruhist?!?
Yes.
Secondly
"Though of course an economy based on hawking anime goods to obsessive otaku may not have the greatest of long-term prospects…"
Japan should take a lession from the US and learn to hawk goods to obsessive buyers in general.
Not really. But you belong to minority now. Mio-ists in now a majority.
Yes....
Everyone have their own taste. You decide ^_^
Can they maybe obsess over something they WON'T forget in a month?
dunno. When did K-on anime end? what is today?
hmmm a month you say...
In the center of the image, slightly left: are these cassette tapes? If yes, these are not official, are they?
Maybe they're doing this in the hopes that KyoAni will make a season 2. Looking at Haruhi, this is a VERY BAD IDEA. STOP IT, JAPAN. I DON'T WANT FOREVER FIVE.
What's the significance of those envelopes in the second photo?...
Oh, and do want ^^
Animedia lucky draw.
That guy won it and got a K-On Library card.
Consider him lucky.
... and here I thought it was something really cool = ="...
i wonder if they have shirts too?
madness!
Nuts.
sparta
yeah
very true
Nice.
Envy...
God yes
What about Azusa... seriously?
Yui-mania is so fucking win i cant even continue typing about it.
I want Yui-mania too ^^
are all those official merchandise? even the wall clock by the corner?? O_o
I understand the appeal.
First...?
... to phail?
Anyways.. the one who bought the headphones.. now that was dedication.
They should put the Sennheiser HD800 in the sequel just to see what happens.
This.
2nd season. The girls get a record deal.
In the recording room they each find 2 pairs of cans they like and alternate use.
1 picks HD800 & PS1000
1 picks Edition 8 & K-702
1 picks MDR-R10 & AH-D7000
1 picks Omega II Mk2 & DT990
1 picks HE-90 & ATH-W5000
SEE WHAT HAPPENS
Fund it oh my god
Hell why not drop some omega 2s while they're add it.
Might as well put in a PS-1000 or an Edition 8 if you're just going to put in expensive headphones that are in production.
I love you for knowing about Grado. Why aren't they more popular?
