The cover to the latest Haruhi ED single, “Tomare!” (Stop!), is attracting unwelcome attention for its attempt to rewrite the laws of perspective, chiefly at the expense of Mikuru.

Looks to me as if in the original, the heads were plastered on like a bad photoshop edit. The 2ch ver. looks much better in that regard IMO.

God, please don't be talking of "laws of physics" if you apparently lack knowledge of physics yourself.
Ever heard of wide-angle photography? That perspective distortion effect is very evidently a replication of the distortion effects that an ultra-wide-angle lens (in the 16mm equivalent range) would produce.
My Sigma 10-20mm lens (16-32mm equivalent on APS-C format cameras) produces exactly such effects at the edges of the picture. Quite fun if you're trying to make funny pictures of people.
Nowadays Haruhi is sucking at EVERTHING, seriously How did one of the most popular anime get like this :(

The Endless 8 might not be a unanimous success but many people including myself have found this idea brilliant even if it's starts to get too long (5 episodes should have been max).
But come on: a semi-disappointing arc + a nice but criticizable CD cover do not make a failure.

We complain about professional work and Haruhi in general because we have learned to expect QUALITY.
When we aren't given that, of course we're upset.
And this CD cover is terrible. Objectively. Sure I could never draw that well at all, but these are professional artists. THEY ARE CAPABLE OF BETTER.

Endless Eight is hooooorrible quality...the animation is worth a Naruto Shippuden Episode, there's no effort in creating a heavy atmosphere, the drawings are completly failed, the Seiyuus suck...
Come on, it's still has the quality we known of Haruhi and what we expected for.
Just because KyoAni took a decision you don't approve does not gives you the right to say it's not quality.
If it's not quality, it's commercial: so tell me what kind of stupid guys would make profit on something they knew that it will be risky.
As for the CD cover, you would have not minded it if someone didn't post an article.
Having art courses for years I didn't notice a huge mistake (I just thought Yuki was always the smaller one but I was wrong) ; I showed the image to my colleagues and they took some time to notice
Everyone makes mistakes, even professionals. Don't expect them to draw you a Mona Lisa for a product cover.

Endless Eight is a series of Haruhi episodes (the most recent), where it basically repeats the same episode (or time frame) over and over again). Although the scenes are animated differently... It's pretty much the same...
Meh. It wasn't all that bad.
This anime got totally fucked (season 2) it got so SHIT that I'll NOT watch it anymore, and started to hate it.
Then don't watch it, let those who still appreciate it talk about it freely.
What makes me laugh is the 1st season fans who thought it was awesome...the 14th episode and the 10min-length where Yuki reads her book is much boring than 20 Endless Eights.
At that time I did not heard that much complain.

KyoAni have also announced plans to release the CD a further seven times, each with slightly different perspective used in the cover art. Each CD will be marketed as a new single, but will actually contain exactly the same songs as the previous ones.
Don't blame KyoAni for this. Blame Kadokawa!
