I'm not a Haruhi fan, though I've watched it and found Yuki's DFC quite pleasing. (Other KyoAni products make me vomit beecause of my severe moe-allergy)

The best thing about the Endless Eight Arc is hearing Imouto-san saying "Kyon-kun, denwa". Gets me every time.

The episode is called "Endless Eight" so... I wouldn't be surprised if they ran it 8 times with slight changes...

Some of the reactions to this Endless Eight debacle make it seem as though KyoAni was involved in something much worse, like slave labor or genocide.

the endless 8 arc should have ended 12 episodes ago.

Personally, I like the artistic concept behind the Endless Eight arc - is there a better way to illustrate the boredom and repetition of being stuck in a Groundhog Day situation for an unimaginable length of time, than this? Ideally, the viewer would experience something similar to the characters, but keep watching in the hope that something new happens to break the pattern, or some small detail is revealed that reflects it all in a new light.

That said, I would still somewhat like to know what the bloody fuck they're trying to pull. I mean, come on! Are they seriously going to force it out to eight? That'd so damn pretentious. And boring, Jesus holy Christ... How many people are even bothering to watch the episodes anymore, rather than checking the first scene, and buggering off?
