Heck if KyoAni really wants to fsck with the fans, they'll go to 9. Or if they remember Spinal Tap, maybe they go all the way to 11.

In some ways this is like watching a classical play that's been performed thousands of times by different theater troops. After a certain number of repetitions you can say the lines along with the characters and the only real interest is if the actors somehow manage to reveal something new about the characters or the staging reveals new themes.

MHS2 is too fuwa-fuwa to have enough depth to support this kind of examination.

endless 8 would be worth watching if it was just 8 different perspectives of haruhi being fucked in the ass.

Ever since the first recursion where they realized they were in an infinite loop, after Kyon asked Yuki for how many times they've gone through the loop, and she gave an absurd number, my response has always been, "Wait. Kyon, ask her how many times you've asked her that question."

Of course, with each passing episode, the same response has become somewhat more pronounced. The most recent I recall being more like, "KYON, DAMN YOU, ASK HER HOW MANY TIMES YOU'VE ASKED THAT BLASTED QUESTION!!!"

Somehow....i wake up this morning knowing another Haruhi episode will be the same like few weeks before.

They can use the rest of the airing slots for new eps instead of a rerun and drop all of endless 8 but the first and last one for the DVD/BR release.

This endless eight shit is pissing me off, but it does not deter from the first season for me. I still like the original series and this endless eight shit isn't going to change that.

Then again, they do force us to listen to Yuki's 'there's something different' at thend of each ep.

The way they have done Endless Eight is a novel idea and probably sounded good on paper, but they could have executed the idea a bit better. They could have limited the number of episodes they did it in, especially if there is a limit on the episodes, and there is so much other stuff to cover, (if it was a longer running series, it wouldn't be so bad). Or at least put a bit more variation in, as Nagato describes, there were variations, events being omitted, variations on part time work.

However, I am not getting really angry like many fans mentioned in other articles here and on the internet in general. I find it kind of funny when I realize it's going to be effectively the same episode again, and keep wandering, will this be the last one? I watch till the end just to see if they finally figure it out! Plus, it's not the end of the world if something your a fan of doesn't quite meet expectations.

The whole point of repeating the same episode is so viewers will begin to feel the same desperation the characters do.
