Oh really? Well, I upgrade MY PC ONCE in 1,5 years, and that includes just buying a new video card for 150 bucks that last another 1,5 years, and I play alot of new games and I play it smoothly and enjoyable. How's that? Well that's because I'm not a graphical maniac (put simply - a shithead) who wants his games in hightest possible resolution, with anisotropic filtration and 16X antialising. I couldnt care less anout thoose things, so for me PC IS superior.

The only thing that disappoints me about PC gaming is that most of the clever, colorful, and unique games usually only get console releases.
(I'm still hoping for a port of Flower, dammit. I don't care how unlikely it is.)

I mean, when you consider the price at which a P[o]S 3 released initially (I SO CLEVER) it's hard for me to sympathize with that belief.

Of course, those two reasons put together are the main reason of all the current consoles, the Wii interests me the most (also price point). But meh, probably won't bother getting one and just keeping what I have.

You realize you can build a PC, that's faster than any of the consoles on the market at less cost. Thousands of dollars? Please.

Indeed, the PC has the advantage of doing many things besides gaming. However, I find a game console usually much easier to play games on (xept for FPS, RTS). I'm a PC freak, but when it comes to games such as Final Fantasy and fighting games...consoles are the way to go.

At the same time blowing that thousands of dollars to run game on a pc you can also use that said pc to make money and eat your delicious cake too. If your a console follower you can always get ps3 and xbox360 and just choose which games to get on which system you like it on.

Good thing I have all 3. Console don't really change every year so if your spending thousands of dollars might as well include a pcps3xbox360 all in one upgrade.

My current PC runs everything at pretty much maximum and cost less than a PS3 does.

The funniest thing about computer vs console arguments is that all games are made on computers anyway.

Actually, I find console gaming pretty expensive. At least in my country consoles and games are pretty expensive, is better to invest in a good PC and get an Steam account.

Yes, all games are made on computer, but how many of us really makes games on a daily basis. And I can make spreadsheet, type, surf internet...on a PC that cost around $300-400. unless you need to play games can last 6-7 years.

A console life span is around 6 years and a PC needs constant updating for parts that cost a lot when it first came out.

Unless you can make your computer by buying your own parts. A good gaming computer from retails cost 2,3K usually. Anything less you can play smoothly, but not on maximum setting without some sort of lag.

Again, (where I live) is stills way cheaper to be a PC gamer than a console one.

Console prices are insane, game prices are insane, game accessories are insane. If you invest in a good PC it can have a life spawn of 5 years even if you don't upgrade it.

Shops are stupid for selling us games at 100 dlls when we can get them online for around 20~40 dlls...
