Persona 5 PS3 Exclusive?

I have p3 & 4 and still have to beat them. I still have to play p4. But i hope p5 will be as good as the other 2.

The Persona series has never been a real cash cow here in the states given it's mediocre(at best)sales of the PS2's various versions and it's likely to flop if released only on the PS3 here.If the producers want to make money, they'd make it for the other two systems and the DS and forget the PS3.

I can see the possibility for it to be in the next gen platform the PS2 has it's limits also maybe a next gen Persona game might include even more customization it can reach what the previous games can do like adding clothes, accessories maybe even gender selection or two separate games with different Protagonists one male and female until more news comes up let's keep our fingers cross

It's not like bringing Persona to current-gen systems is going to add much to the gameplay or anything. The limit of the PS2 has never gotten in the way in P4 anyway.

They need to make another Persona game like Persona 2. If not, I'm not gonna bother playing the same shit over and over again if they keep this trend of P3 copies.
Knowing ATLUS, I highly doubt they'll use whatever hardware the PS3 has, and just make a game that looks like it should be on PS2. They don't exactly have the budget of namco or square.

i'm currently playing p4 and i really like it,....in fact i like it so much that i imidiatly ordered the FES edition of p3 the moment i found it, still if i consider to buy a ps3 in the near future persona 5 would be the only game i would buy it for.

In the 80s there was a huge crash in video game industry and North America was heavily struck.
The Japanese people managed to make video game revive, but the result is that most games are released on consoles.
Why? Because Microsoft & Apple are both American, not Japanese.

i doubt atlus even has enough funds to make it for both systems

unless the next shin megami tensei game does really well on the ps3, if they even release one on it, i doubt atlus would keep making 't games for it. they aren't exactly a big name company with money to burn. this is probably why they didn't want to risk putting persona 4 on a next gen console just yet because the ps2 was still performing well enough for a release on it to be plausible.

God, i hope they make it dual audio cause you can't get undubs for ps3 games :p.

Although i have always been a PC gamer it was not until ps3 release that i bought a ps2 and play all the major title (Persona include) now i wonder when will be the right time to get a PS3.
