Those Gundam loving couples hankering after a wedding in the shadow of an 18m tall replica of the original RX-78 Gundam are in luck, as a company is now offering just such a ceremony.
The wedding package, held in conjunction with wedding company Take and Give Needs (T&G), which normally arranges weddings in more conventional settings (which in Japan might include fake priests and even Hello Kitty) will let customers celebrate their matrimonial affliction with the great robot’s likeness glowering down on them.
The package can be booked from July 11th to the 26th, with the last available date in August the 31st, when the statue will be shut down in preparation for redeployment to a less thoroughly pacified area of Japan.

Was going to mention something like this, Otakus - figurines - 1/6th wedding ring set = marriage.
