To celebrate the broadcast of the second season of Spice and Wolf, a hand puppet in the likeness of the wise wolf goddess Horo has been made available.
Aspiring puppeteers can put their hands up her dress and conduct their own furry puppet shows…
Puppet Horo features detailed construction and her trademark ears and tail. Nevertheless, the combination of beady black eyes and a split-face grin might unnerve some.
Indeed, the eyes are removable (and interchangeable with a squinty pair), raising the possibility of nightmares of an eyeless Holo puppet tormenting small children…
The product is to be released in early August 2009 and set worshipers back ¥3,990.
No word yet on whether the Lawrence puppet featured in the photo will be made available commercially or not.
