Ranka Lee fans can finally enjoy “Gorgeous Delicious Deculture” in figure form with this appealing china dress rendition of the green-haired Macross idol, whose figure is very alluringly displayed underneath her detachable apron…
Ranka comes in the form of a 1/8 scale PVC model following the design from the anime, made by Megahouse.
Extras come in the form of steamed dumplings and a detachable apron… All that is left is speculate at the colour of her pantsu – white seems probable.
Nyan Nyan Ranka goes on sale in October, and international pre-orders have opened.

I never could figure out why anyone liked old dog-ears ranka anyway. This figure just reinforces the same thoughts I had towards her back when the series was airing. She's a terrily designed character.

In the back of one of the books that came with the limited edition remastered DYRL, there's a list of Zentraedi/Meltrandi words and their Japanese or English translations. "De culcha" (デ:カルチャ) is translated as "stupid thing" (バカな事) or "terrifying thing" (恐ろしい事). By themselves, "de" (デ) means "no" or acts as a negative prefix, and "culcha" (カルチャ) means "wonderful thing" (素晴らしい事).
My eyes read "detachable apron" but my brain read "removable dress." Artefact I am disappoint

yeah, storywise, SDF macross is the best. macross zero has the best CG, and macross frontier is in between with very nice songs. well macross f may not have the best story but it is generally better than the other modern robot series.
does anyone know where i can find the full song "runner" sang by minmay. that song is the ed for the original series but it is sang by a man.
Personally Macross Plus comes on top of all the other Macross series.

Macross Plus (Kickass dog fights, good story)
SDF Macross: DYRL (SDF the movie, awesome animation for its animation, still is)
SDF Macross (Classic, speaks for itself)
Macross 7 (Best music, LISTEN TO MY SONG)
Macross Zero (Decent story prequel and all, nice CG animation)
Macross Frontier (Good songs, mecha porn fights are great, decent characters, story is so-so lotsa flaws and rushed)
