Newly released doujin fighting game “Vanguard Princess” has attracted much attention and a rapidly increasing fandom thanks to its fine gameplay, appealing graphics, oppai, and perhaps most of all the fact that it is free.
The game itself is a straightforward 2 on 2 moe style fighting game with plenty of pantsu.
Vanguard Princess spent three years in development under the direction of a supposed former Capcom employee, and its quality certainly seems to attest to professional involvement.
Many players are praising the quality of the game, even more so considering its free distribution; it can be downloaded here.

well I changed the name of two file and also the folder, changed the locate and everything to japan. The game can start but after a few logos it said "GameDemo Open error"... XD any good ideal to solve my problem??? thx
use microsoft applocale
mount the .exe file into it,, and it'll works
and btw,, you don't have to change the foldername
just change the .exe and .kgt file into something readable....to romanji, i mean....
i did that and it stills says DemoGame Open error with japanese letters on it (sigh) i feel like giving up

It's a really crafty game. Combos are hard to achieve, since you have to link most attacks with your support. The fact that you can't order your support while doing an air attack is extremely painful, though. Overall, an interesting experience. Nice to know there's still some space for new concepts in fighting games.

When I unzip the game Windows wants to overwrite several files, because the japanese filenames are all like _____.jpg to my PC... what shall I do?
Install the east asian language pack, and set your regional unicode to Japanese.
install with applocale in japanese.. you'll keep the jap names.. just gotta rename them to a standard non-jap name..

Hello, excuse my English but I have a problem with the game I try to run but closes immediately run it.
I move that, if someone can help me I would be very grateful
rename the exe and kgt into any type of ENG lettering, like both would be name vanpri. Also down load the microsoft applocale first then mount the exe file into that and there you go oh and go to you language pack put it japanese and you must have east asian language pack as well. hope this is helpful to you.
After renaming the .exe and .kgt, aswell as the folder, open the .exe through "NT Locale Emulator Advance 0.86 Beta", it works well.
I had to use this since I got the ".demo" problem and applocale couldn't find a compatible language.
Looks like an Arcana Heart ripoff but anyway I'll still try it :3

I don't know, I read that some of the hardcore fighting gamers find this game meh just because it uses the enterbrain fighting game engine and the lack of muscular men xd
I feel so bad I mean it took 3 years for one person to make this and its free! The animations are amazing and I have no complaints in the character design either, they're unique in their own way.

anyway, the game seems very good.
I don't know if it's just me or something, but I've got trouble with the keyboard controllers when I try to type in some commands. For example, selecting characters is really a hustle.
How to play with no pantsu loli?
She's a support character. You can only access her if you use the roulette/random function. If you look carefully at the rapidly alternating portraits of the lolis, you'll occasionally see a shadowy portrait in the mix.
That shadow portrait is the one you want, but it's very hard to get.
Oh, and she's only accessible in VS mode.

Just got the damn thing working! Had a hell of a time since I'm running Vista! And it's actually really good! It's so fun I don't want to turn it off. The controls are odd and there doesn't seem to be a way to restart or return to the main screen once a game has strted but it's nothing too bad.
Just press the PAUSE button then press A+B+C at the same time. ^_^

Works fine for me, on Windows 7 x64 (Japanese edition with English MUI pack instead of the other way around...) No file changing needed 4 me at all xD This is one of the reasons I usually prefer to install Japanese versions of Windows when possible, but too bad for me in XP you can only use MUI`s in the English base install...

I really do not understand Japanese so I have no idea what this game is about. In my opinion however, this game is way better than street fighter. Im not just saying that because this game is free.
