A husband and wife who for 5 years together enjoyed the sport of spying on hapless females as they went to the toilet have finally been arrested.
The pair, a 44-year-old elementary school teacher and his 42-year-old wife, both residents of Kawasaki, enjoyed a most unusual hobby together.
They apparently secreted a miniature camera in the toilet rolls of the stalls of the female toilets at a public gymnasium in order to film the intimate business of the ladies there, manipulating it via remote control.
It seems this sophistication was their undoing, for a lady using the toilet noticed the camera, and subsequently caught the wife who was controlling it from nearby.
Her husband had been excitedly waiting outside for his wife to complete her illicit business, but he too was identified as a culprit, and people nearby soon overpowered him as he tried to flee the scene.
The hentai couple was soon handed over to police, where they admitted to enjoying the activities as a couple for a substantial period of time: “We cooperated in filming as it was an activity we enjoyed as a couple. We kept doing it for five years.”
It is not clear whether the teacher’s position will be affected by the charges of causing a public nuisance which have been made against the duo.
