I kind of agree with my fellow anon, extremist feminists like Equality Now are giving the rest of feminists a bad name, that's expected. But it's also wrong to generalize the whole group for what only part of the group has done. But really, Equality Now seems like a separate group from other feminist groups, they have no connection to other ones, so I don't see how they could be influenced by other feminists that aren't of like mind with them.

Anyways, I'm getting tired of people bringing up feminazis or feminists all the time now. This has gotten bigger than them, there's much more to be blamed.

Obviously Ukonkivi is particularly adept in avoiding the point. The point is that sexual freedom envelopes ANYTHING, even dominance. As for using the "They aren't really feminists" card, that could go both ways and end up including what a Feminist really is, which isn't what this is about anyway. The only feminists I've ever respected were the ones fighting for a fairer position in the business world. TL;DR Your "feminism" can't exist due to sexual freedom. Radical feminism doesn't appear to have much to do with misandry at all. It seems more to do with fundamentally changing society by overthrowing gender roles, capitalism, and laws.

Banning, does not fit the profile. Criticism is not the same as calling for a ban. And the very article you linked to even claimed that anti-sex even runs COUNTER to feminism as stated by Ellen Willis. And that feminism, true feminism, embraces sexual freedom.

Also, the current state of the pornography industry IS sexist and uneven. It's almost all in one direction and things to the other direction are minorly represented. Maledom majority is something that is to and should be overturned in general I believe.

I am for moving the pornography industry in a more positive direction, myself. Though not through bans and such things.

Also, sex related inequality is a media-wide problem. Not just within the pornography industry.

Sorry pal, but if a radical feminist who constantly worries about her son inevitably becoming a rapist as a result of looking at porn doesn't fit the profile of a person who would be for the banning of such material, then you need to evaluate your own position as a "radical" feminist.

Also, Amanda Marcotte is NOT a Racial Feminist, like that blog implies. She's fairly moderate, and nowhere near social and/or anarchist. I also strongly agree with her positions on birth control and abortion against the Catholic church.
