Macross Frontier Movie “Itsuwari no Utahime” Dated

The latest issue of Macross Ace reveals a date and title for the upcoming Macross F film.
The movie will be entitled Macross F: Itsuwari no Utahime (The Songstress of Lies), and is due in theaters November 21st.
Also featured in this issue is a preview of a newly stylized version of the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross manga showing the partially nude tsundere alien cajoler Lynn Minmay, whose appearance in any new production is sadly not hinted at.

Maybe some day. As for M. Frontier i liked it but i could have done without Clan Chang's genetic defect BS, just to have a loli on the show.. It's just not right for Macross.

Lynn Minmay was the last realistic female character in anime, calling her tsundere hurts SDF Macross fans.
And regarding her being alien i don't know, is China on another planet...?
Misa Hayase was more of a tsundere character than Minmay.
In some of the first definitions of the term someone who is strong-willed and independent but may give the cold-shoulder to love interests whether intentional or not.

Minmay is a good example of the popularity a character can have despite being hated by a good portion of viewers, me included.
part of the reason I hated Minmay is her stupid cousin and how she tolerated him. She was the one who inspired Ichijo to join the military and yet she had pretty much nothing to say about her cousin's rants until much later in the show when he was whoring her out across various towns. That guy was annoying as hell. He should have been killed off some five-six episodes after he was introduced. But they played it safe with Ranka in Macross F, although I would have preferred it if she had transformed into a huge Bajra queen. Pink haired girl in Macross 7 was so extremely annoying and boring, even horse shit can capture my attension better than her.

Sadly, Lynn Kaifun not only survived, he apparently is still around by Macross 7. And as if he hasn't proved himself as a douche, he even had a Fire Bomber ripoff band.
I can't wait for this movie. Also excited for the supposed DX Chogokin VF-27 that is rumored to be released with the movie.

Lynn Minmay is not a tsundere now alien. shes 100% human and shes a nice person like all the time not like a tsundere.
Japanese Minmay and English Minmay were voiced by the same woman.

Maybe the author of this post never saw before Macross original anime. That is the only way to explain terms like "tsundere" or "alien" to the first songstress of Macross.
I was there personally when Mikimoto put the smackdown on Misa/Lisa fans when they started to get going on the Minmay hate:

I watched the original Macross. she is very sweet and cute I never seen any tsundere traits. The only person close to tsundere Hayase Misa A.K.A Lisa Hayes.

However I maintain Minmay as a prototype for a tsundere, aloof personality, least ways in the Robotech series which I have the most experience with.
I am well aware things played out differently in the unadulterated Macross series.
