56 Tattoo Freak Girl Lied to Save Face

The teenage girl who asked for three tattoos but blamed her tattooist when she woke with no less than 56 on her face admits she made the whole thing up after her father was enraged by her new circus freak tattoos.

It seems the girl visited the Belgian tattoo parlor and received the 56 facial stars in accordance with her wishes.

However, after leaving the tattoo parlor the girl returned home to her father, who was furious at the sight of his daughter’s well-executed decision to get the bargain $90 tattoo job.

That is when she claimed the tattooist mistook her instructions to place but three star tattoos on her face, fell asleep in the tattooist’s chair, and woke with 53 bonus tattoos covering the left side of her face.

“I asked for 56 stars and initially adored them,” the girl said. “But when my father saw them, he was furious. So I said I fell asleep and that the tattooist had made a mistake.”

Since her confession, the tattooist has rescinded his initial offer to cover half the $15,000 cost of the tattoo removal.

Rumors have surfaced that this is all an elaborate marketing scheme by a Belgian radio station, especially after the now defunct “Kimberlizer” online application (so named after the girl) surfaced, which allowed people to use their webcams to place the array of stars on still images of their faces as well.

The Kimberlizer domain is reported to have been purchased long before the girl’s sparkling face ever even graced news outlets, and the MNM radio station is said to have had exclusive interviews with the girl when she was turning down other news outlets.

The truth of the matter seems unclear, but what is clear is that girl now has a promising career as circus sideshow ahead of her…
