Warring States Era hack-and-slash game turned Pizza Hut marketing anime Sengoku Basara will be receiving a second season in 2010, as the following tremendously exciting images from the animation played upon visiting the official website reveal:

2ch seems quite surprised by the news, as the 1-cour anime adaptation is often the sort of series to not receive a continuation following its initial season.
