Don't think it will. If it sells as is there is no need to go into the land of no return. Once an anime is turned into a hentai sales plummet and credibility with other stores usually plummets. Stick with as close to hentai without the hentai. Will be interesting regardless. I wonder if any of the male characters will appear next season (or if it will be the third season...if they get that far).
The ending was more enjoyable than I ; the same goes for the series as a whole.
And Nanael made herself useful at last! It was also funny when she rebounded off Melpha's breast and ended up on the ground! :)

Unexpected. I still enjoy the manga more but this series despite the fact that it was mainly fanservice did have a decent ending (and lead in to season 2). For what Queen's Blade is (Ecchi as far as Ecchi can get away with) it wasn't horrible. Considering the main reason it was made it was even comprehensible. The story still could use work but everything else seems to follow what it should be. For what it is, it succeeds.
And quality keep going down :(
