Fate/stay Night Maid Café Event Opens in Akiba

An Akihabara maid café has just begun a week long promotion for the upcoming release of the PSP version of Fate/Unlimited Codes.

As we have seen with the same café’s previous Chaos;Head event, this means liberally decorating the cafe with all sorts of series-related accessories and creating a new menu to create “image” dishes for certain characters, which can be seen below…

The impetus for the event is the June 18 release of Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable, the PSP port of last December’s PS2 version, which was mostly noticed for the supremely detailed Figma that was included with SP box of the game.

The restaurant, CURE Maid Café, has made these sort of promotional events into a habit, as they always seem to be converting the café into a new theme every few weeks.

This new Fate theme is a good example of what is usually done, although the fact the event only begun yesterday regrettably means that cosplay photos have yet to begun circulating online.

Father Kotomine’s Super Hot Asababa Donburi (¥1,000, Set ¥1,200)

A popular plate the last time we had it, Father Kotomine’s Super Hot maabou donburi (rice bowl) comes back even spicier!

Angra Mainyu Pasta (¥900, Set ¥1,100)

The image of the “World’s Holy Grail Mud” has been put into this black curry dish.

It has a mysterious bittersweet taste to it.

A spherical-cut potato and shrimp fry dish made to invoke Kanshou and Bakuya, this plate is liberally spread with red Italian sauce.

These Fate/Unlimited Codes glasses are limited edition items exclusive to this event!

The Fate/Unlimtied Codes Café event will last from June 12 to the 21st, so all Fate fans with an interest in maid cafés have but little time to make their own visit.
