Life-Size Gundam RX-78-2 Completed

The 1/1 scale statue of the Gundam RX-78-2 being built in Odaiba as part of Mobile Suit Gundam’s 30th anniversary celebrations now appears to be complete in all but name, as this extensive photoshoot of the famed mecha shows in glorious detail:
Via punynari, an otaku-sailor who posted these photos on his site, Moe Passion.
The Gundam is planned to be unveiled on July 11, and be shown until August 31st.
What exactly will happen then is unknown, although we can hope dearly that the statue will not be dismantled and can join the bronze Gundam statue as yet another must-see otaku icon.

Atleast use something we have the technology to build, and since this is the first Gundam ever build in the series then it should have the same system as the original.
So just put a small Nuclear power plant in there, and let some 16 year old kid with problems steal it and it´s ready for action! :D

Second Impact happened almost 9 years ago. EVA 01 was built during 2003 and 2004. It will be functional in 2014.

I'm sure if there was ever a war to happen this gundam would be moving into battle because it is fully operational. Like prime from transformers said: "We hide in plain sight"

We need a Newtype first. And for producing Newtypes, we need to colonize space.
Also, we need Minovsky Physics, otherwise no propulsion and no beam rifle.
Not sure what freakish technology we need in order to produce functional beam sabers, though...
