Haruhi anime is made by KyoAni.
KyoAni also animated K-ON (which is serialized on Manga Time Kirara)

The Yomi that appears in the manga looks like xxxHOLiC's Yuko and doesn't look one least bit like Mio. So its more like anime x anime
i think this is cause the anime was set like a few years before the manga..so yomi's image had to be younger
