Where can you get a 50cm x 150/155/160cm dakimakura cushion in the US/Canada?
I want to get the cover, but buying a big cushion oversees is beyond expensive. Crappy US-sized 51cm x 137cm (20" x 54") too short.

Hmmm... In my opinion, Dakimakuras have become one of the 'must-have' Otaku merchandise. However, the thing that surprised me most when I wanted to buy one months back was the price. These things are really pricy.
In the end, I did manage to get myself a custom one sided cover of Fate Testarossa (Loli form) for about 50 USD.
Dakimakura prices are quite inflated (even moreso than other items that are relatively inexpensive to produce), but as the general price of 90,000 - 140,000 has been accepted by most buyers for some years now, no one is going to going to lower their prices anytime soon.
Thankfully the more expensive ones are generally becoming more worth it by using better fabric to create the cover. I do agree however they certainly aren't within the same price range as most otaku merchandise. My most recent aquisition, a Satori Komeiji dakimakura, ran 14,7000 (I think you added one too many 0's Quen) and then I decided to get the pillow with it which pushed it up to 21,000.
Oh yeah,the Macross fes exclusive Sheryl nome's dakimakura is 290,0000 that 3 time the normal price.I just couldn't help but buy that item. I alredy preorder Felli and the new Kotonoha dakimakura(both 90,000),even though I only have one pillow body.
