Nintendo has delighted its fans by finally offering the Wii in the same colour as the dark of night and the raven’s wing, but between it and the “Classic Controller Pro”, certain similarities to Sony’s PS2 are noticeable:
The “kuro” Wii gets its release in August.
Unkind observers might even jibe that the similarities hardly end with the casing, for the Wii has never impressed with its power… Of course, this flattering imitation evidently works both ways.
Like Sony never rips off of Nintendo.
people its just a recolored Wii chillaxe XD nintendo does this crap all the time (owns black gamecube, wants nintendo edition Sp)
The resemblence is uncanny, but to be fair, every contemporary console gamepad can trace its lineage back to the original NES controller. All Sony gamepads are a direct descendant of the SNES controller, and the Xbox gamepad is the result of highly convergent design, with the only major difference between it and the Dual Shock being the reversal of the D-pad and left stick positions.
Remember, every feature you see on a gamepad today was either invented or first utilized successfully by Nintendo.
it’s funny how people don’t fully read and instantly claim that artefact is a sony fanboy.
last part states and points out that it works both ways and has a direct link to the sony’s take on their motion controller.
Wow… I don’t care if you’re the grand-Puba of sarcasm; this column is just retarded… I had no idea Sony trademarked the base color black? I could’ve sworn that was God…
