The July issue of Dengeki Bunko has revealed confirmation of a third season of J.C. Staff’s fan-favorite series, Shakugan no Shana.
Speculation and rumors over a likely third season has been brewing for some time now, but this is the first concrete confirmation through official channels of the new series.
As they often are with these sort of announcements, details are scarce, with some rumors even suggesting that the upcoming series will be a remake rather than a continuation from the second season, although that might seem far fetched.
Regardless of the exact details, this can hardly be seen as anything but joyous news for fans of the fiery-haired melon-pan lover.

Funny, i found Margery the most annoying and she's my least favourite in the show. The only reason i want her to stay in the show is to developt Sato's character. Hell, Ogata is a lot better than her.., and how i wish that twincest gothloli gets the blondie role instead.

To say that Shana ruins Shakugan no Shana shows you aren't a hater, just a retarded troll. If you hate Shana, SnS isn't meant for you and you aren't going to enjoy it anyways so why bitch and moan about her?

Seriously, the parts with the two delinquents and the usually-drunk-blond tend to crack me up, but shana herself is just plain annoying.
Dunno, maybe it's my hatred for kids & most loli looking/childishly behaving characters kicking in (childish loli tsunderes are the fucking worst)... And no, I'm not a troll. I'm willing to accept I'm wrong if the third season proves to be good and portrays the little bitch in an acceptable way. But, as I said in my post below, I expect an equal amount of fail, if not more.

Which is a shame.
Hopefully, the writers will learn that fans want more action between the love triangles liked Season 1. I will be watching this remake, or not. =3 The main point of the story is wonderful.
However, it's no surprise for a new Shana. The series is going strong in the market with novels and such I bet.
If they will continue from season 2, its probably going to be more overreacted. From the novels, Yuji becomes (ahem) and he becomes SnH and fights with "HlFa" (swap the capitals from the quote)
I just hope it wont be like that :/

Wow, everybody hates...uh...what was her name? She's quite easy to forget. Not necessary at all. Shoulda been something like "I realized I was no match for Shana so I just decided to be in the background".
I wish that the third season (or whatever it ends up being) would instead be a straight adaptation of the source material, ike the new Hagane no Rekninjutsushi. No need to build a house on top of a crumbling foundation, just start again from the bottom up. Just don't forget the quality please. Moar quality.

This is soo exciting to see a season 3 coming out! I really love the anime. First season was excellent and second season was okay but got to show Yuji powerful side.. Second season kinda disappointed me when Shana never got to say "I love you".. --baka yuji for not hearing in 1st season-- Im sorry but Ike is really ruining the season.. Hope they come up w/ more better ideas for the third season XD
