These photos, circulated online for some time now, appear to show an otaku who is both somewhat older and significantly more devoted than most, quite possibly to the point of causing worry, although his extraordinarily high power level looks unassailable.

Could this become a common fate for otaku in future?

    Hmm... I HIGHLY doubt that... considering his collection...

    I would like to think he outlived his wife, therefore started his collection afterwards, whether they divorced, separated, or she passed...

    I also think being his age, that he has had some some interesting encounters when he was younger, so now he continues his "activity" through the upkeep of his ever growing (treasured) collection of all which we hope will have when we become his age.
