The Haruhi DS game previously forecasted for release last year has finally been released, no doubt timed to coincide with the the start of the second season.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokuretsu (The Series of Haruhi Suzumiya) is a standard anime tie-in adventure game, interspersing visual novel scenes with various DS-style minigames.
These scans from our original post last year provide a good glimpse of the game for the curious:
Akiba Blog helpfully provides these photos of the new game displays in Gamers and Asobit Game City:
A series of the game’s promotional videos can be seen here:
The Serial of Haruhi Suzumiya is available now for just under $50.
Haruhi game sales for several titles, most notably the much hyped Gekidou, have started to collapse, though this was before the start of a new series became evident. It will be interesting to see whether they now recover.
An official, translated version of the game for the international market can be expected shortly, after pigs learn to fly and just before Clamp finishes X/1999.
“and just before Clamp finishes X/1999”
f♥♥k you, Artefact. xD
Eh? ^_^
I am always puzzled as to how people worked out I am an author here when they so evidently never read the author field.
…….I…..never noticed that before….
what has been seen…..
Sucks because non-bloody Sega.
Does it have a CHESS MINI-GAME. I want to play KYON at the CHESS MINI-GAME
Why DO you capitalize random WORDS when POSTING on Sankaku COMPLEX¿
Because he’s an ANON, and ANONS, as we all KNOW, are PRETTY retarded.
Also hi there Kamineko
Really, what the hell is wrong with Nagato in the cover art?
It’s like the artist drew her on almost the same scale as Mikuru, but she’s way further back, making her look huge. She’s a giant that dwarfs Koizumi. Or something.
The heck.
Haruhi should star in a ‘BishiBashi’ type game, as she is so random.
