Conceptual images of how K-ON!‘s moesome quartet would appear like on a likely future otaku marketing item, tissue boxes, have been prepared.
Considering the importance of paper tissues to the otaku market, and the production in April of the $200 Haruhi Tissues, we can safely assume that tissue boxes emblazoned with the girls’ likenesses are destined for the marketplace sometime in the future.
Mio’s dual use box characteristically says: “Um…!”
“Don’t pull so hard!”
“It sure looks goopy, doesn’t it…”
“Ehehe…good job!”
Tissue boxes so decorated are definitely nothing new, although traditionally are made into square-shaped boxes with equally sized images on all sides, as were the Haruhi tissues.

They are indeed Photoshop creations, as I alluded to in the text of the post and in the presence of the ‘Photoshop’ tag on it…
What I don’t get is, why is Mio’s box of tissues a fanservice shot when everyone else’s is normal? Either you service all of them or not.
I find these tissues twice as offensive now.
