For some inexplicable reason, mixing together K-ON!’s “Don’t Say ‘Lazy'”, ” and a traditional Japanese folk song has proven hugely popular, nearly having reached two hundred thousand views, and is actually quite good.

The “So-ran Bushi” (ソーラン節) is a famous traditional folk song originating in Hokkaido, created by fisherman and concerned with a group of trying to heave forth a great catch of herring from the ocean deep. You can read more about it here.
