To complement the earlier Evangelion unit 01 watch, and even the Evangelion official underwear, Eva Store has revealed that they will also be selling a line of sneakers.
The shoes, with a design based on Shinji Ikari’s Evangelion unit 01, are dubbed “EVA-supernova01: Unit 01 Model” and will go on sale August 12th for ¥12,800.
Their website also shows pictures of the prototype, where ABC-Mart, King Records, and Achilles all worked together to develop the “Footstep Instrumentality Project”.
It seems even after 14 years the Evangelion series is proving a veritable mint for Gainax and company, with all kinds of hit products, even now. The latest remake of the property threatens to unleash a new wave of products…

Do not really want, these sneakers look too flashy for me i'd feel like an astronaut on a mission to the moon with these, the pantsus nerv at the contrary made me laugh when they announced it so i'd prefer to buy them instead of those sneakers...
