    Easy Paint tool SAI

    You can get a japanese trial version and an english fan patch from 2 sites. a crack is possible to come by too.

    it can be used with mouse too - just takes longer and you need a steadier hand and your gonna be zoomed in about 70% of the time. that why i guess people stress how important or easier it is to have a wacom tablet

    I've tested with a table before (a cheap brand named "Genius") but then i switched back to mouse because i keep on getting jittery strokes, maybe my hand is just naturally not steady.. or regular tablet doesn't work well with Photoshop.

    Especially when you can get a Wacom Bamboo or an old Intuos for like $50-75. I used an Intuos 1 for years before finally buying a Cintiq.

    Wacom boards are kinda hard to use at first, but you get used to it :)

    When I get a replacement pen for my cintiq (shaln't be long) I shall have to get myself a crack for SAI and get back to drawing.

    I know time is so precious to you but can you at least spend a couple of minutes reading the whole comments here? So far only FonFon said "Awesome work!!" (not that i disagree with him/her) while majorly are talking about the tutorial, the character Mio, Painting programs and the songs used in this video instead of praising the overall artwork result..

    Oh yea, and do pay a visit to the artist's website to see his other "bad" drawings. :3

    Yea, people really need to sometimes... Just to let those bitchers remember that CGing is more than just scribbling crap in MS Paint (or worse; stealing someone else's Lineart), randomly filling spaces with the Paint Bucket then save it as a poor artifacted JPEG.

    I do agree that this pic does have some flaws (her right arm..) , but seemingly; people are actually getting impressed with HOW the artist works, not (just) because it's Mio with her striped lingeries. It's like watching "I Didn't Know That"; You use condomns everyday and you think it's only a penis shaped balloon but after watching the show, you would be amused seeing how properly they produced them step by step, including the special test where they fill them with high pressure air to test it elasticity..

    Anyhow, Art Simon Cowells are just damn annoying especially those who barely even can draw a pikachu nor even a pacman but still insist to stamp "Crap" on Tony Taka's works. It's nearly equivallent to Mimi Bobeck calling Drew Carrey a fatboy.

    dont worry, i'm actually someone who can put my money where my mouth is. unfortunately, i'm not about to waste my time doing that just to prove a point because of a comment someone made in the internet.

    i'm guessing that the most facinating thing in this topic is the actual making of the picture. i'm saying the final picture is bad, and if it wasnt mio, everybody would've seen how bad it is.

    just to give you an example on what to look for on the mistakes in the pic, try looking closely at the anatomy and lighting. the only thing i can say that's good in this picture is the coloring, oh, and the choice of using mio and the use of big boobs, because then he'll have people blindly complimenting his bad drawing.
