A 19-year-old man has been handed a three year prison sentence for having sex with his 15-year-old wife, with whom he had a daughter. The law recognised his marriage as legal, but his consummating it constituted child abuse…
The couple, residents of the Russian province of Tula, near Moscow, had fallen in love when the girl was but 14, although she had apparently lied about about her age, telling him she was 17 and so legal.
Their romance soon resulted in pregnancy, and they approached the girl’s parents promising they would raise the ensuing child properly, and that they were a loving and devoted couple.
The parents opted to support them, and the pair obtained special permission to marry now that they had parental consent. The parents helped care for the infant so the young man could return to work, and their daughter to school.
However, this tale of conjugal bliss was unexpectedly shattered when the boy was summoned by police, and charged with paedophilia for having sex with a minor. It appears that though he was freely allowed to marry an under-age girl, he was not free to have sex with her. It is not clear who launched the prosecution.
The husband has been sentenced to 37 months of penal servitude, though it seems he escapes being branded a sex offender for life (if only because no such system is in place).
“On the one hand, the girl was allowed to get married. On the other hand, it is considered inexcusable to have a sexual relationship with a person younger than 16 years,” commented a Moscow children’s rights specialist.
In the circumstances, it is thought the courts may be lenient and suspend the sentence against him, though he remains in pre-trial detention.

I'm mainly pissed off at them getting pissed off that a 19 year old youth fucked a girl only 4 years younger than him.
Reality check here, people MY age ie real adults, consider 19 year olds kids, even if we do let them buy beer.
Now if he had been a 48 year old man (like I am), yeah, maybe they have a case for child abuse, because married at 15 with a daughter = his cock was in her when she was 14 and not legal. But as far as I am concerned, anything under 21 is a kid, and I don't find any reason at all to get bent out of shape over two 'over 13' KIDS fucking.
