Bandai Lies to Protect Xbox Owners’ Feelings

With the news that the additions planned for the long-awaited PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia appear to have been present from the start, Bandai have been accused of betraying Xbox owners with the “exclusive” nature of the game’s Xbox release.
They recently issued an explicit denial that there were any traces of the new features in the original game, especially the new character. Fans are less than convinced…
This evidence is rather stronger than the lingering traces of pirate loli Patty present in the code:
“In the drawer is a girl’s pirate hat. A name is written on it, but it is well worn and barely legible. ‘Pa-…’?”
Bandai’s response:
“There certainly was such a scene, but it wasn’t Patty.” It “was nothing like” any sort of cut story or otherwise.

oh man most of you guys/girls? seem like your from the US, besides the point the 2 main teams Xbox 360 and PS3 have there own thing such as console only game such as for xbox 360 L4D and for PS3 valkyria chronicles, oh yeah the 360 you have to pay to play online, buy points if you don't own a cridit card, buy a batterys for the pad but you can play your own music whilst playing a game, as for the ps3 you can play online for free, don't need 10 dvds to play FF13 due to blue rays 25Gig size which means 2-3 discs, chargable pads (which means no going crazy looking for batterys whilst getting murderd online)+ nice comfy size pads + easy to link to PS3 console (link via wire and when done take off), much more stronger then the xbox360 and built in wireless and thats all and BTW Xbox 360 is a hit in the US coz it's the cheapest there so ofcoure theres more Xbox's then PS3's whilst in the far east the Xbox is the most expensive so vise versa and in here in the UK the Xbox 360 is being traded in for PS3's due to you have to pay to play online

The PS3 isn't even getting a scrap of addon material for Fallout 3 or GTA4 when the 360 has been getting it

The whole momentum of console and game sales was screwed up by Microsoft to begin with. They took Sony's work on the PS3's hardware and made an inferior machine to release it sooner to get better sales. Then they made deals with Japanese and American game makers to release their products on the 360 only(or additionally as with FFXIII). In nearly all respects, the PS3 surpasses the 360, or would if not for Microsoft's less than fair practices. Not to mention the fact that most if not all game companies would rather release their games for the 360 at this point,however the limitations of the 360 compared to the PS3 are what draw Better Games to the PS3.
If Microsoft took the time to make a better console, The PS3 would've been released first, and the whole market would be reversed in the western world, or at least sales would be 50/50
If you don't think Microsoft was in a rush to put together the 360, need I remind you of the Red Ring of Death? A failure like that would be disgraceful to any business. And their easy recovery from all the ruckus shows their consumer manipulation skills.
BTW I don't think anyone considers the Wii a hard core console, especially when Reviews constantly have a phrase like "might be the Hard Core game the Wii is looking for."
This is why we're likely going to see a totally backwards compatible 3rd gen MS machine out in the next 2 years.They started work on the darn thing shortly after the 360's release and have had it in development for quite awhile now.Blizzard was even asked to help out in some secret way with the "720's" development, which leads me to believe that they are close to a final hardware specs and are looking for certain Devs that will be able to come up with and release some cutting edge stuff for the release of the new machine(likely Christmas 2010-11).

Just a quick note: Bandai doesn't do a thing about Tales games, it's Namco that handles Tales...
They're the same company, I'm just vacillating on how to refer to them...
While they are the same company, they still have their branches. Namco has worked on the Tales series since the SNES and it's the same case with Vesperia. Namco has their own original works under their names, while Bandai mostly works with game adaptions of anime.
In most games, I believe it still does display either Namco or Bandai after the Bandai Namco logo.
