Most Wanted Hollywood Game Film in Japan: Dragon Quest

A recent survey asking “Which game would you like to see Hollywood make a film of?” has provided some interesting results, with games like Dragon Quest and Metal Gear topping the list.
The ranking ranges from unsurprising to mysterious:
1. Dragon Quest
2. Takeshi no Chosenjo
3. Metal Gear
4. Tetris
5. Spelunker
6. Legend of Zelda
7. MOTHER (Earth Bound)
8. Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban)
9. Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken
10. Grand Theft Auto
Sadly, we do not hear how respondents proposed Tetris be turned into a Hollywood movie.
Other titles making a potent showing included witch probing game DokiDoki Majo Shinpan, the more plausibly adaptable Devil May Cry series, and DS Brain Training, another mysterious choice.
The survey itself was conducted online with some 5,000 participants, with varied backgrounds.

they even think of trying to make a movie out frm the Tetris which in 2D form. so eroges...
But i still wish it'll be one there... haha
They voted for Tetris because they know that Hollywood adaptations suck and don't give a damn about the original creator's intentions. They know that the movie would try to piss as much as possible over every series' storyline, so they chose a game without storyline on purpose.
If the game has a story, hollywood will RAPE it.
So better choose a game with no story to begin with, so that no matter how bad it turns out it at least won't piss over the original creators as much...

Well... maybe an hour and a half of "*click!* *clunk!*" would be a bigger box office hit than some of the movies that've come out recently. I don't think I have to mention names, do I?
