    LOL. I was kinda joking to myself thinking that when they censored this, every scene would be a big black screen. This doesn't actually seem that far off from that... can anyone figure out what's going on in this version?

    anime fan 1: hey, did you see that new Queen's Blade anime yesterday?
    anime fan 2: oh, that one about the random flashy lights that try to kill each other?

    For those wanting a better fansub - I'm working on it personally. I'll announce in the forum when I'm done with each ep. The horrible subs so far are why I want to place such a burden upon myself each week. And I will only use the uncensored version. As I am doing this myself I ask for your patience.

    Secondly, this is just terrible. Where are my boobies? :(

    it's actually quite obvious why they did this

    1. They'll get more exposure putting this on regular stations and at more regular times

    2. They can't air them uncensored, but by making them done the way they did, they save time and money compared to if they spent time and effort making clothing and good censoring, and this way whoever watches it knows that nudity has been censored (and maybe just that idea alone will titillate people)

    3. THe obvious knowledge of censorship will cause those interested to ultimately go for the dvds and make them buy it.

    cheap, but smart nonetheless. that is, after all, how must business runs these days anyways.

    Needs proper fansubs. Aasasubs? Rape? Can't believe Chihiro dropped this series, now which other good fansubs is going to do this? Just pray that some good fansubs would be willing to sub the dvd version....

    Before responding you should probably watch one of the fansubs for Queen's Blade out now. The translations are absolutely horrible. Makes Chihiro sound pretty good right about now.

    Chihiro like most fansubbers are tolerable at best. Their translation errors are actually fairly numerous.

    I used to think groups with long histories have good translation ability. Well that's not really true, it depends on their translator and they don't always use the same one. If if they do, many are just not as competent as you think. They may not even understand Japanese and are translating from a translation of another language like Chinese.

    I suggest picking up a Japanese textbook. Think of it as an investment for the future. It'll raise your weeboo level too!

    Okay smartass, then could you recommend me what good fansubs that are doing Queen's Blade now? I could trust fansub groups like Chihiro cause they do have subbed several animes before and could say their quality is rather good. Not great but it is livable....

    yeah, but it's too bad they're going at such a slow pace. EP2's sub came out after EP3's raw was released, so almost 10 days later. Everyone ends up watching the parody subs or aasa and base the anime's story and quality on those. Hell, some people even judge the story using the raws and with little to no knowledge of Japanese.

    In terms of speed it is one of the best.Quality is another matter...but still watchable so nothing to complain as u wan to watch your anime earilier i guess.
