Dragonball Evolution Doesn’t Need Reviews

In a move sure to please American and European fans of the Dragonball franchise, Twentieth Century Fox has decided to release the film Dragonball Evolution straight to the public, bypassing the routine screening normally given to reviewers.
The exact same tactic already seems to have helped the film’s Japanese release…
Whilst it is customary for films to provide a screening for critics and the media shortly before its release to the general public, Twentieth Century Fox, possibly buoyed by the film’s tremendous success in Asia, must have felt such a cumbersome step unnecessary.

The film enjoys tremendous hype: legions of fans worldwide have praised the film’s quality and it’s uncannily accurate depictions of its famous characters. Confidence in the film’s box office potential has already inspired the making of a sequel.
Given such factors, one must ponder the distributor’s curious decision of delaying the release of the much anticipated film in the two key markets a month after it has been released elsewhere.
The film opens April 10th in the United States and April 8th in Europe.

Don't be stupid; kyoani was 3 years old back when dragonball first started and didn't even make a series on their own until 2001 or something. It was made by Toei Studios, and the anime was fuck awesome in comparison with this shit that Fox is putting up. Do your freaking research before you post something incredibly stupid next time.

I remember every live-action movie to be terribly amusing because of ridiculousness...
People in my country are so stupid to make an excuse sayin "I am going to watch it so I can see how bad it will be", I tell them it's not even worth downloading a torrent, let alone buying a pirate copy.
*sign* Today we saw with a friend of mine a part of the movie I downloaded (in order to make a parody fandub) and although he found it awful he instist to watch it at the theater when they release it here.
The only way I would go seeing it at the theaters would be if they gave me free ticket in order to annoy everyone at the hall with my sarcastic comments (yeah, I'm a bad boy sometimes :P ).
There maybe some subliminal messages that influenced your friend to want to see the movie when its released.
Think about it. Its awful, he has seen its awfulness and yet wants to pay for a ticket to watch it at theaters.

commonly when a film does this it gets bad reviews aferwards. same is true for games.

The only nice part of watching it was the mashed potatoes and hotdogs that I bought as snacks while watching the whole movie.

Obviously the writer has not read reviews and expectations from the "legions" of fans. What do you guys think?
