This image (which needless to say is not from April 1st) seems to show the most high density country dwelling conceivable; if it is not a Photoshop, urban planners and realtors will have had much explaining to do…
Still, at least the view would be nice.
The fact that Japanese urban housing is, as we have seen, notoriously space efficient may be known to you, but this a new an unexpected extreme.

I'm no pro, but something about it feels shoppped. Particularly, how the sides don't line up at the top.
yeah, i think in reality is the tower round
Photochop or not, the top most floors on many apartment/condo buildings end up being penthouses with bigger space than the rest.
Most camera lenses have a bit of fisheye distortion, so this is normal. If it's very noticeable, i have to shop it out of my pics. I can't personally see any proof of photoshopping. If there is any, it's very well done.
One thing to look at is on the left side of the building, where the dark underside of the roof of each floor is visible against the blue sky. The angle at which it departs from the front roof line is dependent on the height. It shouldn't be to hard to calculate what that angle should be from the viewing angle. But once again, if you don't know what the lens is, this will be affected. This would prove or disprove any potential photoshopping.
As for being out in the middle of nowhere, one possibility is that it is being constructed now in order to prepare for future growth, and to avoid expensive land costs.
I think the more likely scenario is that it is either a model or a render superimposed on a hilly background, not a cut & paste more level shop.
What... where will the tenants work? Buy stuff? What sort of transportation are they expected to use? I mean fuck, there isn't even a parking garage (from what I can tell... unless it's underground?)
There's got to be more to this story. :P
It's obviously the first entrance to Tokyo-3. The tower is just temporary accommodation for those involved in construction until their underground quarters are finished.
Do you not see all those blue fences completely blocking our view of the ground level? Who knows what's concealed behind that. Five miles of parking lots, for all we know.
photoshop..... - -'
at first I was like, oh, another china article...
I can't find any thing on inaka-heights
can someone explain to me the point of this? spank you
Photoshop xD
Awful tower of doom!!!
Someone took very seriously the Modulor of Le Corbusier.
Where's the shadow???
Maybe there is a road on another side of building...
unlesss there is a bird view of building and sourronding you can't precisely tell it's photoshopped or not.
But it is me or the building seem will fall to right side
[pardon me for my bad english...]
The shadows on the building don't seem to match the angle of the sun against the trees on the hill.
But that would have been one cool-ass place for a hotel...
lol. A single huge building in the middle of nowhere.
Its a trap! Stay away or you will sealed within, FOREVER!!
I remember the #dontjoinitsatrap channel... I was trapped for hours...
lol?
Seriously?
is this biodomo 2.0 ?
Can someone tell me what's wrong with this pictures? Lol don't they have these in Chicago and other cities?
Because from what we can tell from the picture alone, it looks like the tower is in some backwater place near the mountains. The farm fields at the bottom also give that feel of the country-side.
Real Life Tower of Druaga??
Quick someone call Giglamesh!!
GIRUGAMESH!!!!
GUHROOGAMESH
Damn forced memes...
Actually there a quite a few houses hear that would look like that if photographed from the right angle...
It's neither real building or shopped. Someone just ate a corncob, stuck it in the ground, and took a close up shot of it, replete with miniatures.
Ill just go on the limb here a say its a test building for elevators
Strangely enough that would make sense...
By the way, intriguing name you chose there.
heh thanks. You can probable guess where I got inspiration for my name from(and a interest of mine)
Nuclear silo? Or NERV HQ?
I think that was more because of the geofront than Nerv...
Hey, it's a tech center!
NEW CONSTRUCTION OPTION
But is it Nod or GDI?
Neither, It's the allies.
Weather Control Device.. Activated~

Wow, when I first looked at teh image, I thought bout Tower of Druaga -_-"
the image is so similar to it....
Where can I find the april fools article?
DRUAGA NO TOU!?
Used to be a construction inspector, the is a model. Look at the wooden telephone poles in the foreground, then at the black(?) high tension towers to the left of the building.
CURSE my FAT fingers! It's supposed to read, "this is a model." Sorry.....
compare the height of the van and the height of a level/floor...i think you would not want to live in a compartment that is not even as tall as a height of that van...
this is definitely photoshop
Did you ever think that the van looks bigger because it's closer to the photographer?
At least everyone will have a good view--something that is rare in built up areas.
We have this in China. First they build a bunch of housing, then after that, a town around it.
Actually it makes a damn lot of sense if you stop and think about it for a quick moment! .....To preserve as much "farm land" as possible from the damn real estate developers tenacles of greed. One should develop "rural" ultra high density living quarters. One does need to preserve as much prime farm land as possible!! The idiot "developers" here in my "Central Valley" of California. Should indeed take a lesson, lest we lose all of our food production land.
Just a fat 1st April joke.
As I said, it isn't from April 1st.
OH SHI- Hinamizawa!
